Our lenses are manufactured by Hoya. We have worked closely with them for a number of years as they provide high quality lenses.

Coatings Overview
Hi-Vision Meiryō is HOYA’s most premium coating ever. With exceptional clarity, scratch resistance and full UV protection across all indices, with the use of a UV400 monomer for 1.5 MEIRYŌ coated lenses. Includes a no quibble guarantee.
Hi-Vision BlueControl is a coating that neutralises the blue light emitted by digital screens, reducing eye fatigue, eye strain and sleeplessness. Benefits include the reduction of glare and enhanced contrast. Includes a no quibble guarantee.
High-Vision LongLife is the hardest, most durable anti-reflection coating available from HOYA today. 50% more scratch resistant than Super Hi-Vision. Includes a no quibble guarantee.
Hi-Vision SUN Pro is a premium quality coating that’s designed to improve visual performance, durability and aesthetics. The all-around protection is a great choice for customers who plan to have an active summer outdoors.
Super Hi-Vision, known for its high scratch resistance, is practically as hard as glass lenses which minimises the risk of scratches and prevents the coating from peeling.
Hi-Vision Aqua is a high-quality stable coating with a water repellent top layer. It comes as standard with a hard coat layer, reducing the risk of annoying scratches.
OTHER COATINGS AVAILABLE
Coating the back surface of a lens with an anti-reflection coating can help to reduce the reflections of light that enter from behind you and bounce off the concave surface into your eyes, ideal for use on tinted lenses.
Ensures better resistance against scratches and guarantees the lenses keep their optical qualities for longer.
UV protection for patients eyes is highly recommended. At all times all our lenses comply to the UV requirements of BS EN ISO 8980-3.
UV protection is inherent on all HOYA lens materials, only for 1.50 we recommend an addition of an enhanced UV treatment to block all harmful UV.
HOYA is able to supply both UV 385 and 400 on all 1.50 products, Hi-Vision MEIRYŌ coated lenses use a UV400 monomer as standard.
