We highly recommend you calling us as we can offer you appointment times on the spot, or, if there are no times which work for you, add your details to our Standby List and we’ll offer you an earlier slot if one opens up.

Chaperones

At Clark Optometrists, your comfort and confidence during your appointment are important to us.

Eye examinations are not intimate procedures, but they do involve close proximity and occasionally some contact around the eyes. While most patients are entirely comfortable, we recognise that some may prefer additional reassurance.

You are welcome to request a chaperone at any point during your visit. A chaperone is a trained member of our team who can remain in the room with you during your examination.

You are also very welcome to bring a friend, family member or carer with you if you prefer.

As part of maintaining a safe and transparent environment, our consulting rooms operate an open-access approach, meaning colleagues may enter when needed during the course of the day. This supports both patient care and staff safety.
